The  first Bordentown Railroad Days is set to take place on the 180th Anniversary of the first public demonstration runs of the the “John Bull” locomotive which took place in Bordentown New Jersey. It is also the anniversary of the first know train ride by a woman in the United States. This was the start of the first commercially successful railroad in New Jersey and later became part of the Pennsylvania Railroad system.

American Planners Association Tour Bordentown City

Bordentown Heritage conducted a tour of Bordentown City and Delaware & Raritan Canal footbridge on October 8, 2011 for the NJ Chapter of the American Planners Association. It was an ideal fall day. Planning professionals from throughout New Jersey were guided on a tour of City historic sites, recent projects, and monuments and memorials.
